Great news for me! Delighted that my two entries SOLD at Gallery One88 Fine Arts last week. One of the finest art galleries in Katoomba it is run by Victor and Sharon Peralta. It has 3 floors of amazing artworks by local artists and more spaces to come. If anyone is visiting the Blue Mountains it is a must see gallery!
Thankful to the lovely buyers of my works I was informed that Govett's Leap Lookout went to Bathurst and Along the Creek found a new home in Springwood. Also thankful to the curators and of course the Blue Mountains Artist Network for the opportunity to exhibit in this beautiful gallery.
It has not all been roses as we have been connected to the NBN and when I say 'connected' it is with 'tongue in cheek' as we have had no internet for a week now with a fault that has not been rectified. Been very frustrating and besides using mobile credit we are now using wi-fi mobile data. As you can imagine it has been a big distraction to my creative spirit but I have managed to complete a few new works for products. I have enjoyed experimenting with ink drawing and combining it with a touch of digital magic. See below! These works are available now on many items, and with a 12 day sale at my online gallery, if you see anything you like, use the code at the top of the screen to receive a big discount of 20% and more!
Seeing as the flowers are out and about in our garden I have recently been inspired by our beautiful hydrangeas. Painted in watercolour and ink is 'Burst of Spring - Hydrangeas' and as we are moving in to the festive season 'Snowflake Tree' was also painted in watercolour with a touch of silver ink.
Not long now for Christmas and I have been busy designing some fun, cute cards. Below are a few examples, head over to my CHRISTMAS SECTION to find some unique festive gift ideas including 3 new designs of calendars. Remember specials are on!
So until next time please stay safe and well and I will pop in with more news soon and to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
best wishes Linda
