The second week of my solo art exhibition at the beautiful Everglades Gardens Gallery went really well considering I found out that February is one of their quieter months.  Had some slow days where a few cards were sold but other days were busier.  I continued to greet tourists, art lovers, and also my daughter and family, from The Blonde Nomads who could not make the opening, paid me a special visit.
By the weekend 3 originals had been sold along with many other art print products.

It was also an interesting combination of weather patterns, one day extremely hot, another misty with rain and then high winds with lightning and thunder, never a dull moment with the Blue Mountains weather! I am enjoying a day off before a working day tomorrow then back to the Gallery:

Have had the most enjoyable and interesting first week at my solo show at Everglades Gardens Gallery. After starting off with a very quiet Sunday due to rain and mist, it was followed by the hottest week on record in Australia! I was lucky to see some people visit the gallery braving the heat and had a steady stream of lovely visitors. Enjoyed chatting to people from Germany, (even had a belly dancing lesson), Japan, England, Sydney and Melbourne. Was delighted to have sold an original, 'Light as a Feather' that is going to Melbourne with a lovely couple. It was the lady's birthday and her husband brought her to the gallery so that she could pick a painting of her choice.  Having a two day break (well catching up with housework and chores that have been neglected) and then looking forward to going back to the gallery for my second week Wednesday - Sunday/11-3pm.  Hoping to greet and meet some more people from around the world. Had a busy, enjoyable and successful afternoon at the opening of my solo art show 'Reflections', before a slow, hot Sunday.  As the temperatures were rising outside visitors were inside the gallery enjoying some wine and refreshments, whilst viewing the diverse works of art that I had on show.  Happy to have sold an original, a canvas print, and many other art print products such as bags, scarves, cushions, and cards.

Wanting to thank all those that attended the opening, your support is always appreciated. Very thankful to those that made purchases and so rewarding knowing my work is being enjoyed by many. I will be looking forward to returning to Everglades on Wednesday 8th.

One day to go, but who's counting! Very productive day today hanging paintings at the stunning Everglades Gardens Gallery.  Even made a small sale of an Everglades card when a visitor wandered in whilst setting up..good omen maybe? Whenever I walk in to Everglades I always feel a sense of peace and a strong connection to nature. Set on 13 acres of European style gardens with stunning views and a 1930's historic house it is a 'must see' for tourists from all over the world visiting the Blue Mountains.
