Hi All hope you are keeping well. The Blue Mountains Arts Trail started off with one of the most windy and coldest weekends ever! After a very slow start Saturday as soon as the afternoon hit I had the pleasure of welcoming 20 rugged up people to my studio and I had a few small sales. Waking Sunday saw the weather pretty much the same and not with high expectations I was pleasantly surprised to have another 14 visit my studio. I want to thank those that bravely faced the cold weather! It was such a pleasure to meet you all. Had some lovely chats to aspiring artists, locals, and tourists from Sydney. Also a big thank you to those that made purchases.
On collecting the signs we noted one missing from the Great Western Highway at Lawson, whether it had been taken we are not sure as it was chained to the pole. We are hoping it did not blow off but being chained that is very unlikely. So was grateful to those that still managed to find us! So back to the drawing board to make another sign.

Just love the splash of colours these birds bring. The two cheeky looking ones on the left were painted from my own reference photo taken at a friend's place in the Blue Mountains and the beautiful one on the right I snapped at Shoal Bay sitting on the edge of a restaurant chair!
