January News and Happy New Year

Happy New Year all, hope it is treating you kindly. Busy busy this end getting organised for my solo art show at Blue Mountains Heritage Centre. See details on brochure below and spread the word thank you!

Looking forward to showcasing some of my Blue Mountains landscapes, Australian wildlife and fantasy watercolours all relating to beautiful nature and what it has to offer. Show runs for 3 months so plenty of time to pop in and enjoy the art when in the Blue Mountains.

Happy to have sold my first painting for 2023 at GalleryOne88 in Katoomba Street, Blue Mountains. Etched in Time now has a new home. Thankful to the collector.

Redbubble was pretty busy before Christmas and sales were great so I am very thankful for the small sales, as well as the large. I also sold cushions recently from the studio to a lovely Airbnb guest. Products of Redbubble can be ordered online.

Merry Christmas and Nov/Dec News!

Hi All
Hope everyone is well as the busy festive season draws nearer. I have had a great few weeks with sales of paintings and products so sharing my good news.

My two bird Bluethumb commissions are completed and flew to Queensland and are now hanging in their new home. Delighted to say message received from client is 'they look great and I am very happy'! So one happy collector and one happy artist ☺ Here I am in my gallery with Rainbow Days and Kookaburra Delight before they left the studio.

Hope everyone is keeping well. I am flat out painting 2 large Bluethumb commissions and enjoying the process. I am working on 2 vibrant Rainbow Lorikeets and will then move on to 2 beautiful Kookaburras. Really delighted to be given the opportunity to paint these Australian birds. I am also preparing for my solo show early Feb, March and April - details will be given after Christmas. It is such a busy time of the year for all.

It has been wonderful seeing some of my smaller framed artworks leave the studio for new homes. I have put a few larger ones on hold for the show so great to have them snapped up recently through Bluethumb.

On now until December 8th is an art exhibition by BMCAN - such a diverse exciting range of art! I am happy to have sold my Memories of Autumn at the show and I still have 2 more available for sale (Yellow Robins and Endless Forest - update Yellow Robins sold) along with many other wonderful works of art. As always in between painting and ' airbnbing ' at home, and life in general, I am designing new products for my Redbubble portfolio. Many products are being shipped around the world consistently and I am forever thankful to all my supporters. See below for some examples of what has sold and is available. BLUE MOUNTAINS ARTFEST IS ON NOW AT WENTWORTH FALLS SCHOOL IT RUNS THIS WEEKEND -
11TH- 13TH WELL WORTH A VISIT AND BROWSE SO MANY WONDERFUL WORKS ON DISPLAY FROM BLUE MOUNTAINS ARTISTS. I HAVE 4 ENTRIES BUT DUE TO OVER 200 ENTRIES 2 WILL BE ON DISPLAY AND IF ONE SOLD ANOTHER WILL BE PUT UP. My entries are: Memories of Autumn, Quirky Aussie Mates, Fairy Wren and Twilight.

Hope everyone is keeping well. So sorry for the late news due to life being busy as always! Never a dull moment.

Since the last blog I have been offered to hold a solo show in February of 2023 so will be painting when I can to prepare for this and will also have a variety of my available works on show. Information to come towards the end of the year.

BMCAN SPRING EXHIBITION

Hi hope you are all keeping well. Life is still busy as ever but art remains at the top of my priority list still along with my family of course. I have had quite a few sales since checking in last and completed new paintings (see the originals for sale tab) plus won first prize for Winter in the Blue Mountains at Parliament House as mentioned in my earlier blog. Still excited to receive the top prize and a highlight and honour in my life.

My Fairy Wren Couple and Blue Crab were sold at Bluethumb in May/June so thankful to see them go to new homes.

LINDART GALLERY

Delighted to have sold three originals from my Gallery in the Blue Mountains in May, Autumn Melody, Wentworth Falls Lake and Cheeky Cockatiels. They are all now living in lovely new homes in Queensland. Plus a collection of my Redbubble art products left the gallery going to
Queensland and Singapore.

It is great to see my commissioned designed cushions continue to sell at Everglades Historic House and Gardens in Leura. It is such a popular tourist spot and rightly so boasting acres of beautiful gardens and a tea house. Well worth a visit when in the Blue Mountains. You can find my cushions in the shop.

Although sales have somewhat slowed on Redbubble I am still designing new works and have sold a few items recently (see small selection below) and always thankful for sales large or small. I also had a commission request to design 2 x bird cushions of my Yellow Robins with a cream background as you can see below. FIRST PRIZE FOR WINTER IN THE BLUE MOUNTAINS

Exciting news for me that just to be shared now and I will catch up on other news soon! My Winter in the Blue Mountains won the first prize at the Out of the Blue Exhibition with the Blue Mountains Creative Arts Network. I am so very honoured and thank everyone involved in this exhibition. Organisers, presenters, judges and congratulations to all the artists, we are all winners on being part of such a wonderful exhibition.

Hi All ☺

Belated Happy New Year greetings! A new year has started and we are in to April already! So just popping in with some news and hope this post finds you all well.

Life is still very busy with our Airbnb guests but I am still painting in between life in general so life is good!

I have managed to paint a few new ones. Large paintings called Sydney Harbour (available) and Winter in the Blue Mountains (not for sale as yet and ready for the Parliament House Exhibition coming up in May 2022) and Wentworth Falls Lake (framed). Apart from new originals I have also uploaded a few older watercolours that are in my gallery..seeing as it is only open by appointment it is great to have an online selling platform for collectors, see Originals section. Apologies for not popping in sooner to wish you a Merry Christmas but life has been busy with lots of painting going on including a commission, art product designing and more! It has been a very successful last 3 months with many paintings being sold from Bluethumb, at my gallery and at an art show. Hi Everyone hope you are going ok! Life sure is different these days with covid running our lives. I hope you are keeping well and find something to smile about every day. I am busy with my studio and gallery and so thankful that I have my art to fill my soul with light. I have had quite a few sales since I checked in last and quite a few originals have gone to new homes/offices along with many many art products.

Hi All
Wow time is flying and hope you are all keeping well. It has been a very good year so far with original painting sales and I cannot thank you enough for all the support that I am receiving. Some of my favourite paintings of Emus have found new homes as you will see below.

Gallery One88 Artful Exhibition with BMCAN

I was delighted to sell my Blue Mountains Twilight painting at Gallery One88 in the Blue Mountains. This gallery is full of amazing works of art from the local talent. With three entries accepted and one sold I left two at the gallery on Consignment and sold Blue Mountains Winter shortly after and it was shipped all the way to its new home in London in the UK! You can imagine my excitement! Govetts Leap Lookout is still available at Gallery One88 and two more Blue Mountains will be going there soon.

I have 3 paintings on show and for sale at The Edge Gallery in Katoomba. It has some wonderful works of art on the walls from local talent. However my Quirky Emus - Double Trouble as you see here is now sold but has been replaced with Curious Cassowaries! They are just as cute and full of fun.
