Trust the new year has started off better than you imagined. Ours has been full on but I have been able to do a few paintings in between 'life'.
I started off with a Baby Magpie that was featured on Bluethumb and was snatched up within a week.. along with Kooky Kookaburra. Seeing as it was loved so quickly I have just completed a similar Magpie Baby now available at Bluethumb or direct. See below. Thankful to the buyer in Western Australia that bought two of my favourite bird paintings!

COMMISSIONED ART
Completed a commissioned work of art called Swan Lake. The client had an image in his mind and I was so happy to be able to transfer it in paint to canvas. Collected recently, he was delighted with it and said it was even better in person. He was so pleased he is going to be calling on me for another. This is what makes an artist's life more rewarding when your art is appreciated in a big way.
THE EDGE GALLERY, KATOOMBA - ONGOING EXHIBITION
With the Blue Mountains Creative Arts Network now folded it is a very quiet time in the mountains on the creative side. I am honored though that I was invited to continue to display some of my artworks at The Edge Gallery in Katoomba at the Cinema complex along with a few others. Please pop along and support our local movie theatre and view the art whilst there, all for sale.
REDBUBBLE
Redbubble sales have eased up since Christmas but art cards are still leaving the site along with a few other products such as coasters, mugs, prints, cushions and phone cases! Always appreciated. I am always adding more designs and they make great gifts for others or you can treat yourself to a unique creation.
