Hi All hope you are well! Another month has slipped past fast and hope it has been a good one to you.
As I juggle life and art it can become rather challenging but also enjoyable. After all I have to keep my creative soul happy. ☺
To begin with it was a wonderful exhibition at GalleryOne88 and a great time was had by all, it was such a pleasure to exhibit in one of the most amazing galleries in the mountains. See below for photos. These paintings are available for sale at my Bluethumb profile, although one is ready for the exhibition at The Edge Gallery, details below!

We also run an Airbnb here next to my studio called ' Merinda Skies' and it has been increasingly busy with the lovely weather we are having in Australia! Had a lovely couple stay who sent me a message early one morning wanting to purchase one of my paintings. Of course 'sleepy head' missed it and when I replied they had booked out but insisted they would purchase at my Bluethumb profile. Yay!! they did later that day so happy and thankful to know it is has a nice new home.
Had a lovely surprise one day when a friend from down the south coast was travelling through and popped in with her friends. One lady was captivated by my 'Nature's Tears' work of art. The original had sold so she purchased a print.! One never knows when someone will connect with your work and it is always a lovely feeling knowing when a person does,

'Mystical Trees' is a new work of art painted on canvas in misty purples, blues and pinks. Bring nature inside and enjoy the connection every day. Best viewed enlarged so head over to my Bluethumb profile and check out all the wonderful detail of every leaf!

Well Christmas is nearly upon us and most of us will be enjoying the holidays with family and friends. Following on from my earlier blog in November my daughter and family from The Blonde Nomads are home with us and we have been spending quality time with them. Now we are busy preparing for Christmas and the festivities so this will be my last blog post for the year.
Here is Marli my beautiful granddaughter she loved her painting 'Forever Young' that was created especially for her.
Sooo I would like to thank all those that have purchased products from my online Redbubble art gallery, quite a lot of sales have been happening which is obviously due to Christmas shopping! EVERY sale is very much appreciated. See below some of the products that have left the gallery. (Excuse the 'sold' words as easier to just copy and insert each image from instagram ☺)
I have also been trying a new style, full of earthy golden tones. I had a great time using textures and happy to say one has already sold and I will be experimenting more with this style in the new year.
Golden Moments was the second in this earthy style with highlights of golden texture, it looks very class and striking on a darker wall and sparkles in the light! For sale at my online Bluethumb Gallery
I have also loaded new works at my Redbubble Gallery and if interested please take a look - there is something for everyone as I just love to paint what my heart feels. Here are just a few new works as shown below.
So will close now and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very happy, healthy new year. May it be full of peace and light. Stay safe out there and see you on the flip side!!
best wishes as always
Trust you are all well. Once again it has been a very busy time with lots of 'arty' happenings. Firstly I was very pleased to see that my large canvas painting 'Harmony' sold at my Bluethumb online gallery! Many thanks to the art collector and with over 100,000 works on this selling platform it was such a lovely surprise to receive a sale. There are more paintings available for sale at my Bluethumb Gallery and please note shipping is free in Australia with free returns.
Wentworth Falls Artfest went extremely well and I was delighted to find that 2 of my watercolour and ink works sold. Again many thanks to the art collector! Always a wonderful feeling when a 'piece of my soul' goes to a new home.
Happy to hear I had 2 x cushion sales thankful to buyer. This design 'Tree' was commissioned by Everglades along with another design 'Elegance'. You can also find this cushion design on cushions/covers at my online Redbubble Gallery link below.
My Redbubble online shop has been pretty busy, what with Christmas not far off it seems people are shopping online. I have had quite a few sales and support is always appreciated. See below a selection of art product sales. You can shop products at my secure online gallery please click link below. All products are created from my original works.
THE UPPER BLUE MOUNTAINS ARTS TRAIL with BMCAN went really well despite the gloomy, cool weather I had the pleasure of welcoming over 30 visitors to my studio. A mixture of art lovers, tourists and budding artists called in to have a chat and some to purchase works. Thank you so much to all who visited and extra thanks to the buyers of my art it is always appreciated and encourages me to continue on my art journey! Below are a selection of art product sales. If you head over to my
Redbubble Shop you will also find new Christmas card designs if you buy in bulk of any design discounts apply!
I have also found time to paint a few new works as shown below. These can be found at my Bluethumb profile along with other new works. If interested in viewing my art please ring 0414 586028 to arrange an appointment I love to meet new people at my studio even if it is just for a browse ☺ You may find me with paint smudges on my face but hey that is all part of it!
So all in all it has been a productive few months and I continue to produce new work when time allows. The busy Christmas season will soon be upon us though and we are also excited that my daughter and family The Blonde Nomads are due to return from their lap of Oz and stay with us for a few weeks. So will pop in to update and wish you a Merry Christmas at the beginning of December. Until then take care, keep smiling and be kind to one another!
Best wishes as always
Hope all is well in your world. October has passed quickly with lots of birthday celebrations, including a 9 day cruise to the South Pacific to celebrate my own big one that was actually in May. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely do another.
Now to art - Springwood Artfest was a wonderful show and proved to be a success with the sale of my Adelina Falls, Blue Mountains, see below.
Always makes my heart skip a happy beat when I see a red dot and very thankful to the buyer!
Wentworth Falls Artfest
Another show is coming up soon opening Friday night on 9th November and runs until Sunday 11th. I have 4 paintings that were accepted, two bird paintings and 2 watercolours, fingers crossed someone connects with one. It is always difficult deciding what to pop in to a show and one never knows if that one person finds what they are looking for..so wish me luck!
Welcome to Linda's blog!
